COCONUT TREES

Bountiful opportunities and potentials of Sto. Tomas as well as the agricultural component of the city. The left tree with one cluster of coconut fruit represents the rich history and culture of the city. The right tree symbolizes the current Sto. Tomas which promises countless possibilities and richer future as represented by the two clusters of fruit. The height difference between the trees symbolizes the progress of the city towards achieving its goals and mission.

CHECKERED FIELD

Resemble farmlands and the continuous development of the city from an agriculturally-dominated town to an up-and-coming eco- industrial city.

MT. MAKILING

Continuing importance of nature and the  environment amid the pursuit of the development of the city. The flora at the mountain foothills depict the rich biodiversity that can be found and explored in the city.

 

MALVAR MONUMENT

One of the key features of the city which signifies Sto. Tomas as the birthplace of Gen. Miguel Malvar, a Filipino general during the revolution against Spain and the Filipino-American War. The monument is a symbol of hope,  courage, and strength which inspires Tomasinos to keep moving forward despite adversaries and challenges.
