PARISH AND NATIONAL SHRINE OF ST. PADRE PIO

The Parish of St. Padre Pio of Pietrecina was canonically erected on June 2003 by then Arcbishop of Lipa, Most Rev. Gaudencio Rosales, D.D. It is the first parish in the Philippines under the patronage of the Capuchin Saint. The Parish was then elevated into a National Shrine with approval of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CPCP) in 2015. It was commonly visit by devotes to pray for healing, guidance & success, as well as guests that wants to see the first-and-second-class relies of St. Padre Pio housed in parish complex.

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS
PARISH CHURCH

St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Church is the first Parish established under the Dominican friars. It was in the same year 1606 when a Dominican Priest established the town and curacy of St. Tomas and named it after the foremost Dominican theologian, St. Thomas de Aquinas, where the church was also named after.

The parish was located at the heart of Poblacion where the central business districts of the town used to be located.

ST. CLAIRE OF ASSISI
PARISH CHURCH

Sta. Clara of Assisi Parish Church was named after St. Claire who was born on July 16, 1194 and was canonized as Saint Claire of Assisi by September 26, 1255.


The said church was located in once of the barangays of the City that was also named after her, Barangay Sta. Clara. She was the patron saint of people with eye diseases, gold smith, and laborers.
